Linocut printing in Munich—a chance to unwind, go offline, and get creative. Here, there’s room for color and ideas.

What is it?

In our print workshops in Munich, we work together to develop ideas and bring them to life.

Our studio is open every Friday evening: Just stop by and print your first mini-print in a single evening. Or create your own project in the Print Lab over several sessions—a set of cards or a printed version of your favorite item, from design to the finished print.

Small groups · no prior experience required · all materials included.

Print after work

Your weekly reset with color. Stop by after work, learn the basics of linocut printing, and print your own little design. No prior experience required, no strings attached. Good to know: You’ll create a mini-print in one evening. For bigger projects, check out our PrintLab or5-session pass.

Multiple appointments | Time for a bigger project and more technology.

Print Lab

At the Print Lab, you take the time to bring your own idea to life. There’s a new theme every month. A project on paper or fabric: a set of cards, a bag, or your favorite T-shirt. In just 2 sessions or at a more relaxed pace over 3 sessions (4.5 hours total), you’ll design, carve, and print your motif. See below for dates from October through December.

What do we do?

Here's what you'll learn in the studio:

1) Linocut techniques

You'll transfer your design onto the linoleum and carve it using special tools, following step-by-step instructions.

2) Printing on Paper & Fabric

You'll learn how to roll on the ink evenly and create crisp prints: on cards, paper, or fabric.

3) Color Mixing & Experiments

Print in multiple colors, mix colors, try out new materials, and discover your own style.

I've been printing for 19 years

about me

I'm Alicia, an artist and web designer. I love using traditional techniques like ink and paper drawing and linocut printing. I'm also passionate about programming for digital art and coding experiments. I occasionally love using a drawing tablet to create digital illustrations. I've worked with start-ups, companies, and marketing agencies in the fields of illustration, graphic design, and web design.

I learned the technique of linocut printing in Maestro Carrasco's workshop in Mexico, studied there for three years, and participated in several exhibitions and the iconic Ex-Libris project.
